I'm really hoping I just missed something, because it would seem like this should be easier. I'm looking into building my own bass, and tight now I'm trying to find some machine heads. I want a Hipshot Extender style machine head for my E string, but I'm having trouble finding a matching set for the other 3 strings.

This is the Extender I want (in black)

My problem is that I can't find a set of machine heads to go with this. Any suggestions where to look? The only sets I can find don't even look like Fender machine heads...

An I seriously overlooking something really obvious, or is this hard to find?

That works. Looks like it was rather obvious. Guess I was just over thinking it and looked for a set and not individuals. Thanks.

Musiciansfriend sells both Fender replacement tuning machines, as well as the lightweight hipshot versions that would complement the hipshot extender quite nicely. Stewmac.com I believe also sells a no-name Fender replacement, and a Schaller version of the Fender design.
