I figured this would be a nice way to compile a good listening list of a lot of old Delta Blues guys. I'll start with some of my favorites.

Son House
Of course... Robert Johnson.
Junior Kimbrough, though I have to agree with this guy^, as I prefer the Black Keys' covers of his songs than the originals.
Junior Kimbrough, Elmore James, and Charley Patton come to mind.
Feel free to call me Kyle.

Just so you know, I read everything you type in a Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs voice.

I mean in Kyle's case, it is in the best interest of mankind that he impregnate anything that looks at him funny...
Robert Johnson and Charlie Patton.
Fender American Standard Telecaster
Vox Night Train 15W
An ever-morphing BOSS and MXR loaded pedalboard

-Howlin' Wolf
Muddy Waters (he's technically Chicago Blues but he started in the delta)
I don't always post in the threads but when I do its random and pointless because I'm ignorant enough to think you care.
Muddy waters wrote his songs similarly to Son house(willie dixon wrote most of his hits tho)

i like son house too, I like Mississippi John Hurt too.
Lots out there. I like getting compilation albums that feature both major and lesser known players. Nothing really not to like about any of them in my book.
