I like the new album, but not as much as the previous stuff.

This one totally blows. But the self-titled was good.

So Nightmare...
I love A7X's old stuff, from Sounding the Seventh trumpet, to Waking the Fallen, to City of Evil.
Admittedly I didn't know them until 2004 or so.
The Self-titled was... mostly pants, and had a few good songs.
And the new album is terrible.
Of course this is ALL my opinion.
I just want to know you, fellow A7X fans, opinions!
On playing the Paul Gilbert signature at the guitar store extensively, my missus sighed:
"Put it down now, It's like you love that guitar more than me!"
In Which I replied.
"Well it has got two F-Holes!"

I think semen would be our biggest export...
We'd build an industry around it.

It's awesome, seems like they're finally finding a sound they can stick with. And it slays the s/t

i dont know what it is about portnoy but whenever he plays something it just doesnt sound heavy... i know hes amazing but i feel like in dt and on this album it sounds like it wants to be heavier than it is and the drums are the reason why....just my opinion... i dont need the dream theater fans to annihilate me

I dunno. Carry on is pretty sweet, their album A life less plagued is pretty damned acclaimed, it almost makes me want to go edge.

I'm just listening to the whole thing on windows media player, and after that I'm going to put on some Cowboys became folk heroes.

hmm.
I listened to them at 4am...
Going to listen to them again today see if I can allow myself to like it.
So Far: Nightmare, Buried Alive, Natural Born Killer, and Save me have been ones I can like...
the lyrics are pretty weak..
I can see it may be a popular album, but for me, It wasn't my cup of tea.
Keep the opinions coming though.
you gotta tell me what you like about it.
