okay first off im a computer noob. so i got guitar rig4 recently and i read the manual and it says i need to convert the analog signal of my guitar to digital so i can use it in guitar rig. does anyone know how i can do this. do i have to buy something extra. also i tried asio4all, but i have a 64 bit computer so it didnt work. can anyone help?

you need a soundcard (not the one in your computer/laptop thats an output soundcard)

or something that puts your jack cable from your guitar into a usb

Go ask R&R. We're srs. I thought a USB interface (like that one for example) was a good idea but was roundly rebuked (indirectly) for it.

Do you have a good sound card?
I use Asio4All with a crappy computer and it works wonders.
