Hi,

I am trying to learn the song Monster by Skillet. this seem to be a quite easy song since young 8 years old play it. I know it's in drop C But i am wondering how are they doing so that there is no echo in between the parts.

Like you play

------------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------
--5--5-5-5-0---------------
--5--5-5-5-0------------
--5--5-5-5-0---------------

but you don't want to hear the strings still rigning when you play this part

------------------------------
------------------------------
-------------------------------
----x----0----------------------
----x----0----------------------
--- x----0--------------------

How are they doing to mute the strings so fast ? The n after this part i don't want them to rign for the next part of the song.

Ugh, thanks for reminding me of that kid.

Just when I thought I was becoming a fairly proficient guitar player...

... at age 19.

Don't worry about it dude, I'm 23 and I can't match him at all.
