Which bands are the most flawless technically when they play live?

Dream Theater are pretty flawless (apart from Labrie and is vocal problems) and Muse as well.
#4
Sylosis. Incredible, fast, technical, melodic metal. Their live show is unbeatable; I've never seen a band play with such precision whether it be pop punk or anything else. Its like listening to the CD, but louder. Utterly flawless.
#7
Meshuggah.

Between the Buried and Me are pretty flawless too.

Lamb of God are pretty flawless live. I thought their killedelphia album sounded spot on for all the songs.

Edit: ^^^ Really? Dragonforce? U joking? And the thing with Maiden is that they change the solos for better or worse on every song live.

Machine Head have been flawless each time I've seen them. Tool were cd perfect. More impressively, Karnivool sounded just like the cd which was crazy considering the amount of effects they use.

Im seeing them and Stone Sour in October for the first time, they are definately one of the bands that got me to pick up a guitar. So when i find out, i'll tell you whether i agree with you or not

You're spot on, Machine Head have incredibly energy live and are very charasmatic, the same can be said for Slipknot whether you like them or not.

As regards to Tool, i'd go even as far as saying they are better live than studio, its a completely different experience

Yeah i'm gonna have to disagree with Metallica here, James' voice isn't what it used to be understandably after doing it for 30 years! He is old after all. But the muscianship is all there. I hate to spark an old arguement, but live Megadeth have the edge.
No ego-inflating quotes nor stupidly long signatures to be found here.

Move along.

When I saw lynyrd skynyrd and they played Free Bird I almost cried. Their only flaw didn't even have anything to do with the performance. There was an African American heritage festival going on outside of the convention center and for the concert there were Confederate flags everywhere. Aaaawwkwaaaard.

Aghora are amazing live.

As my old guitar teacher once said: Metal really comes from classical music. The only difference is pinch harmonics, double bass, and lyrics about killing goats.

Killswitch Engage.

I want to say Mastodon but Brent messed up up a solo.

Their tonight show performances make them sound really bad live but they are the complete opposite.

Between the Buried and Me sound the exact same as they do on the CD, but their shows don't look that interesting. Although I've only seen the Colors DVD.
