Hello
Im thinking about buying the M-Audio Keyrig 49, but Im not sure if it would work with my computer
I have a Sony Vaio (with an Intel Core i3 proccessor, 4GB RAM), but would I need some expensive sound card or something like that?
I pretty much know nothing about MIDI keyboards so any help is appreciated.
Thanks

It's not supposed to be all that good. I was considering one myself back before I got my Axiom 25, and I decided that having a controller with actual MIDI inputs and outputs and a decent-feeling keyboard was more important than the number of keys.

No, you wouldn't need any special sound card to use it. Most MIDI controllers have USB outputs, and the Keyrig only has a USB output.

Yeah I understand that it wont be the best, but that's not what I'm looking for either
Does anyone know anything about the Pro Tools M-Powered Essential software that comes with it?
