Hi,

I've just posted a cover on YouTube, however it's closer to the ortoPilot version than the Muse version.

Comments would be appreciated, C4C.

Thanks :-)

Voice as been said..its terrible...the sound is terrible, its out of tune , and no technique at all.

The Guitar was OK , on the beginning , but when you start "singing" you screw up the tempo's , they're not synced together at all , a lot of mistakes .

Overall , give up the singing because clearly you're just not cut for it ( sorry ) , practice guitar only with backing tracks or with someone that Can sing.

Ps. My hears are bleeding from the chorus
Gear :Squier + Vypyr 15W / UCG102 + Picks = Awesomeness !

Sounded pretty good to me. I liked the strong strumming rhythms with the acoustic guitar. The voice can be enchanced by double tracking and splitting one to left and right. Right now it sounds too in your face with little presence. Another thing is to give more air and power to the vocals. It sounds like you are singing low to not disturb the neighbours?

A decent comment for once (i.e. constructive criticism not just "you're crap")

Will take what you said into account

I think they mean that the guitars (in the intro) are slightly off-beat with each other. Perhaps because of the somewhat complex rhythm.

And well you're no singer, but I didn't mind listening to your voice.

I didn't think it was that bad at all, certainly not terrible. Your voice definitely needs a lot of work though. It sounds extremely forced and just generally unnatural. You also need to work on staying on pitch.

The instrumental part I thought sounded really good. As was mentioned above you need to work on keeping all of the guitar parts in sync, but with five different parts it's very understandable that they would get a bit off.

The "chorus" part near the end also sounded really good.

Overall a decent cover that could use some work.

I guess just pick a song in my profile to comment if you feel like it.

Thanks.

Yeah I was surprised actually that more people haven't commented on the chorus/choir bit towards the end, because personally I thought that was the standout bit of the song... nvm
