My first post yay
I recently got my first electric guitar http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/843/img0065w.jpg and I was hoping if I could get some advice about buying an amp.
My budget is 200-250 euros and I am looking for a nice oldrock distorsion such as GnR, AcDc and so on as well as a nice clear channel for blues.
Would be thankful if you tell me what I could get. Thanks ahead

I think the overall opinion on UG seems to be that atm the Peavey Vypyr series is the best versatile, budget practice amp range around, so look into them.
Gear:

Guitars: Ibanez SV5470F, Ibanez Xpt700, Fender MIM Standard Stratocaster ('04-'05), Jackson Ps-2
Ashton AG200,
Amps: ENGL E530, Bugera 6262-212,
FX: TC Electronics G-major 2, Behringer EQ700, Morley Volume / Wah

I looked it up and it´s a really nice one to go for but they don´t sell any Peavey´s in my country.

A Vox VT15 would be nice, too.

I found that one in my local shop and it is awesome. If I don´t get any more suggestions that´s the one I´ll go for.

Thanks for the info.
