No, because it'd be just one more mediocre instrument that's priced WAAAAAY over any reasonable MSRP simply because of a little name on the headstock. The only people that could actually afford it, as usual, would be retired collectors.

They did make a limited run of solid rosewood telecasters, probably on several occasions. Rosewood is really expensive, and quite rare. I think Brazilian Rosewood is engandered these days or something.
