I wanna improve my lead skills. i know a few short punk rock solos. but i want to learn some more advanced ones but not too advanced. so basically im looking for lead stuff that would be good for my skill level.

i can alternate pick quite speedy
i can hammer on pull off bend slide... etc.
but its hard for me to play solos that consist of too many techniques and together and at too fast of speeds.

so any suggestions?

Enter Sandman by Metallica. That was my first solo. Actually, Metallica has quite a few solos that arent too difficult. Try the solo to One too.

Just take it slow at first and really concentrate on your picking accuracy and getting those pull offs to ring out. Good luck

look don't be ignorant... social distortion(punk band) solos have many notes bends and slides the only difference is its maybe slower and definitely not as long.

so don't be an idiot.

Chill brah it's called an internet joke. An actual troll does not type "/troll" at the end of his comment.

the simplest solo i can think of atm that does`nt containing too many different techniques, would be liberty by steve vai.
