Uhm... If I understand the point of this you're looking for amp advice.

From what I can tell you might want to look at the (prepares flame-sheild) Bugera 6262 or 333XL and the matching Bugera cabinet.

Hope that helps.

So, are you using pedals for your distortion? Because that's probably your problem, if that's true.

No I meant like heavy music to senses fail ish, and everything in-between. Why should I update my cab? Like reasons, and I'm content with my rig but I always want theimprove and the the best I can get ever. I say no budget because this is a longtime goal, so I'll he saving up, I just want to set in stone what i want =]

well then if budget doesn't matter then pick your dream amp, not someone elses

my suggestion would be a Mesa Triple Rec. They run about $1800 new just for the head
#17
the triple rec and dual recs only difference is just that the triple uses 3 rectifiers, and the dual uses 2. obviously making the triple better than the dual

I'm pretty sure there are some (fairly subtle) preamp differences as well.

The truck dude? or whoever said (wrongly) that Triple recs are better than duals?
