She's sitting in the corner
Reading her book
She knows it's coming real soon
So she sits alone
Waiting for the van to come

Beach comber from San Monica Pier
LA, San Francisco, Seattle
He's been there too
Quietly waiting in his time
Waiting for the van to come

And we're just waiting
We're all just waiting too

Strung out songman
Strumming away ever so absently
Living life by the shot
He's just waiting at the stop
Waiting for the van to come

And we're all waiting
We're all just waiting too
Waiting for the van to come
Waiting to take us away
Just waiting for the van to come

Music wise it has a lot of clean, bluesy chords. A mix of some Beatles sounds, Hendrix, and the Arctic monkey's slower stuff

As per usual, c4c
I'll pretend I can mod your amp but break it instead.

So you're saying it's good enough to be on the B-side of a single, but not out in the open? Give me more than that man!

It's a pretty solid song, I like the sort of abstract thought of the 'van coming'.

The line
"Strumming away ever so absently"
Feels really long and awkward in comparison to the other lines, which I feel interrupts the flow you had going.
All in all I like it, could do with a little smoothing out, and try to keep your syllables flowing
Best dirty pick-up line...
