well back in march i was considering getting a 305. acousticminion says, bah - get a 25th 305. actually fuk that get a 25th 513. so i'm at PRS at the time and i play both of them. the 305 was awesome, but this was another whole animal.

13 tones in the pig.
5 way pup selector works the same way a strat does.
one vol, one tone knob.
3 way toggle makes the bridge or neck pair of singles either a single, a vintage voiced bucker, or a modern hot bucker. therein lies the versatility.

solid one piece mahogany back. flamed maple top. one piece mahogany neck. bound rosewood fretboard with anniversary birds.

so the "case date" as they call it goes from June to May to Aug to July to....

so it arrives today...

don't bother decoding it.
2010 PRS 25th anny 513, ten top, charcoal burst...

smexy case...

now i waited months for this thing. my heart was pounding when i opened this...

upon further review...

lovenote attached...

with the family...

For the clips i did the usual messing around with the knobs a bit. i don't think i hit all 13 tones in either but you should be able to get an idea of what she's got in her. feel free to flame my playing, i've been chugging coffee all day and well, the monster energy drink didn't help either. lol .

It's a guitar worth more than $600. He'll get flamed to hell for being "ripped off" because he should have just bought a Schecter or Epiphone.

That's the price for someone who has never 'worked' with PRS personally... Gregs has done quite a bit of 'work' with him, from what I hear.

well it is an employee discount. i work for sam ash so i get the guitar at a discount off of what GC, samash, sweetwater etc pay for them. any employee of an authorized prs dealer is eligible but few people know about it. let's just say a lot less than they go for new. sweetwater has one for $3900

i met the man on a tour with about 15 guys. he did take a liking to me though, cuz i'm funny in real life too.

I didn't say that's what he paid, just what they sell for.

Knowing Greg, he probably traded the guy a Dano Grilled Cheese for it.

yea i paid a bit less. but you are kinda on the right track.

i sold off a lot of gear to afford it, so i didn't come out of pocket a penny to get it.
2 - yamaha sg guitars
1 - '63 fender vibroverb reissue

but i sold those at a big profit because i can use jedi mind control. so my cost on those 3 items was...

drumroll...

$1575....
