hey i plug in my brothers bass to his amp and it shocks us when we play it
but when i plug it into my amp it works fine?
his amp is a combo mine isent

This happened on my friends guitar once, it was fun to play. I think the cause was the outlet though although I left before it was fixed.

Yeah, check for a loose wire in your bass. Amps have 3 prong connectors so they are already grounded. The wire should be grounded to the bridge.

Whether or not the guitar bridge is grounded or not you shouldn't be getting any shocks from it. This is a very serious condition.
DON'T PLAY THAT AMP UNTIL SOMEBODY FIXES THE PROBLEM!!!
And have the outlet tested, I've seen 100V between the neutrals of two sockets before (granted we used a 240V supply but still......)

And let me guess, you have things plugged into more than one outlet?
If using different sockets for say, the amp and the effects, and that results in a shock then you have a bad outlet. Fix it before you hurt yourself.
