Well guys, I just got my first guitar, and got my first amp as well!

HERE IT IS!

Review:
This amp is the best amp I have ever played. The INSANE setting is just that! God I love the sound of angry bees as I'm playing.
The clean channel is so warm, better than any tube amp I've ever played. The crunch and metal settings don't have enough gain for me, I strictly played grindcore so the insane setting is the only channel I play.

PSYCHE!

This is the amp I actually got.

(Pictures from the CList ad)

I got it for $350 with the cab off of craigslist. The guy I bought it off of was really cool too.

Review:

I'm not very good at reviewing, so bear with me and I'll keep it short
This is my first tube amp and going from my Spider III 15 (which I actually have) to this is incredible.

I've only really used the ultra channel. The EQ is very responsive and the distortion sounds like sex, especially with my Schecter, which has active pickups.

The clean channel is also far better than my Spider. Very warm, very fun to play on.

All I need now is an NS-2 as it has a little hum and a tuner pedal.

The cab: This is my first half stack and I haven't really tried any other cabs, so I have nothing to compare this to. I guess it'll hold me over until I get some more money

Thanks for reading guys!

PS - Does anyone have any tips for this amp? Just in general, not looking for anything specific.

Edit: Also thanks to MatrixClaw for inadvertently helping me find this awesome deal.

That's awesome. Have fun with it. I would recommend saving up for an iSP Decimator instead of the NS-2, however, since it bleeds signal a little less, and has a nicer buffer IMO.

+1, both will do the trick though. The NS-2 is harder to work with though, the ISP has one dial, I mean... how easy can you get?

I'm going to guess you live in AZ?

I was kinda thinking about grabbing that, but I already have a JSX.

Anway HNAD! Excellent choice!

EDIT: NVM, you definitely got a good deal on that too. The one here is going for $400 just for the head.
I have a huge fear if rays.

I found it on the Orange County Craigslist for Southern California.

I think that one belongs to MatrixClaw, he was going to sell me it, but he "inadvertently helped me" find the other one because I searched Ultra to see if I could find a better deal and I did.

The previous owner was really cool, he's getting a small blues junior for his dorm because he doesn't play the brootz anymore.

Fo reals? I was thinking about it, but I've also seen them for less.

And before you ask, no I don't want to trade my M13 for it.

LOL

I know you can get them less. But, I don't really need to get rid of it, I really really really like the amp, but I'm not using it much, so if I can get something out of it, might as well. If not - no biggie
