Not mine, but pretty similar.

Bad picture, I'll look for a better one but they really look like foxes in person.

Yeah I would do the same if that wasn't sketchy as ****.

Wild animals would have all sorts of diseases, parasites, infections...wouldn't advise you go snag one from the woods and call it a pet.

I've seen a couple. I didn't think they looked like foxes . More like mini huskies.

You can cuddle with me, if you want

And I was kidding when I said I would just go catch one, I'm not dumb.

Regular dogs are better by far; you know this is true because I'm basing it on absolutely nothing (therefore, why would I lie?).

Hate to be a buzzkill but you would never get health insurance on a fox. When I applied for pet insurance for my labrador it was made very clear on all forms they won't insure an animal over 25% from feral stock.

Foxes are 100% from feral stock.

^ From what I've read on the site, these foxes have been domesticated for generations.

The program was started in 1959 by Dr. Belyaev who believed that the key factor for the domestication of dogs was neither size nor reproduction but behavior. He started experiments with a population of 100 vixens and 30 male foxes from a fur farm in Estonia. Belyaev domesticated a population of foxes and put them under strong selection pressure for inherent tameness. Only 5% of the most disciplined offspring were selected for further breeding. It took 35 generations and 45,000 foxes to select this trait.

If I had the cash I'd get one...

And I'm not even sure if they ship to the UK or If England even allows ownership of such animals.

It takes more than 3 or 4 generations to breed out feral behaviour.

Dogs have been domesticated for millennia. Some places still won't insure part-wolf dogs or husky types because they haven't been domesticated as long.
