I just got it on Netflix today, but it's out of print

? I have a copy.

anyway, for the longest they only had the two Daria movies on DVD. now they've got all the seasons, too, so hurrah!

I saw one on tv, that was supposed to be a documentary on a guy who was gonna kill himself in like 4 days, i thought it was really good. I think it was called 2 Days? Maybe it was 3 Days... I forget, anyway, I've been looking for it everywhere, but I can't find it.

Another one I really enjoyed was a Norwegian Film called the Bothersome Man, which i found on Amazon, but i've been looking for months.

Have you tried eBay, primus?

i mean it's on VHS. and other region DVDs. but no region 1 DVDs. not even out of print; they've just never been produced.

and for suburbia, no DVDs at all.

there was an awful, awful movie I had to watch in sixth grade health class when I was 12...it was called "Straight Up" and it was about a kid named Ben who traveled up a "Fate Elevator" to magical lands with a magic man named Cosmo so he could learn about saying no to drugs.

It featured human embodiments of booze, pot, cocaine, etc. Ben had to ward off the bad guys with his magic headband that told him about the dangers of drugs, and later got magic glasses that let him "see through the lies" about drugs and a magic pendant that gave him courage to say no to drugs. among the classic scenes were Booze and Pot frantically fighting over his headband while singing a brain-strangling song called "Gimme that Headband," Booze trying to murder Ben with a chainsaw, Ben getting attacked by laser beams, bullies trying to force Ben to smoke weed ( ), etc.

the acting and script were horrific. easily some of the worst i've ever seen anywhere. this wasn't your standard awful educational movie - it was a horrible nightmare. and it was hilarious.

all i can find about it on the internet is that Seanbaby did a "review" of it years ago. it's vanished into obscurity

I saw a french movie about two normal low middle class guys who decide to make some money by kidnmapping some rich guy's daughter, they do it but at the end they like her too much and don't take the money (IIRC).

The girl was so f*cking beautiful, and the only thing I can remember about the title was that it had the word 'gangster' on it.

The last American virgin. I saw like 15 minutes of it when I was little on tv and I liked it vausethere were tits. So basically my early version of porn. But I have yet to see that movie anywhere.

Q: OK, so do you care about the labels — nastiest, edgiest team in the NFL?

Jim Schwartz: It's better than the alternative — meekest, least aggressive, softest team in the NFL.

Oh my God! I remember having to watch this movie! Ha ha ha! It was so terrible.

But mine would have to be The Crow or Repo! The Genetic Opera. I can't find either of those anywhere. Or Evangelion.
