And I am looking at the proco Rat 2, or the metal muff.
I'm trying to get a blood brothers/ATDI kinda sound.
I'm playing out of a Fender Devillie 4/12 combo

thanks in advance,

oh and if you have any other recommendations in the same price range, I'm always open to suggestions

I really like my Ibanez TS-9 Tubescreamer. Gets the job done and has a good range. Also very reliable and sturdy with an easy to use on/off switch.

I;m not sure the price of those, but you should give the MXR fullbore metal a look, it has a mid boost on, i never really use it, but you could probably get a the sound you want out of it if you tweek it right. it's a little pricy, but worth it imho

also, the metal muff sounds like shit, really hissy on the highs

GOD NO.

TS, stick with the RAT 2. It's a really solid pedal that's pretty amp-like IMO. Also check out the Barber Dirty Bomb.
