I just wrote this poem on the spot and it is, to be honest, rather wierd Its based on the stories that we've found supposedly found evidence of life in rocks on mars

Life in a Pebble

Life in a pebble.
Its hard to comprehend
That there's more,
More than our mountains,
Than our lakes, our countries,
More than us.

All of a sudden,
We're not so big any more.
We're not the ill fated harbingers
of our own demise.
We've found someone else
to do it for us.

All of a sudden,
I feel insignificant.
Like a grain of sand
on a long stretch of coastline.
The waves, our new found friends,
coming to meet us halfway.
