By unusual I mean insane. In the literal sense. I've got a few bits of critera, though. Well I guess I'm just fussy when it comes to music. The most obvious one is that the members I'm looking for have to be near to where I live; I don't wish to travel half way around the world just for a few strums. Also, I'm 16. 70 year olds won't quite fit. Hear's some stuff;

* Pretty much have to be in the North West of England. I live in Liverpool, Seaforth.
* 11-21
* I am severely depressed. Would like to work with other people who are depressed, so the songs can relate to the whole band.
* I am mentally ill. Yep. Not looking for people who can think normally.
* I am also very, erm, self contained. Maybe you'd label me as loner. Maybe not.
* Music wise, you have to like at least 5 of these 10 bands to have the same taste in music as I; Muse, System of a Down, Tool, Slipknot, Korn, Dope, Radiohead, Kasabian, Disturbed, Queens of the Stone Age.
* Pretty much any type of rock/metal artists are welcome to join; Singers, Lead Guitarists, Rhythm Guitarists, Drummers, Bassists, Keyboardists... might not be too keep on an Xylophonist, though. No more than one of each (me excluded, I can be flexable).
* Inteli-bloody-gent. If you're one of those retards who think it's cool to win a fight and who wRItE LikE ThiS, punch yourself in the face. If you don't realise that 99.9% of the population consists of idiocy you too are an idiot.
* Creativity is the key.
* Differentiation is the lock.
* Must be against killing/crulty of any kind. That is war, animal testing, abortion... even killing the common fly. Vegaterians; now I like them. Must also understand that mental pain is worse than physical pain.
* Must take their music seriously.

If you do somehow manage to pass all of the above criteria and you're interested in becoming a member, say so in this topic and I'll send you a message for contact details.

Wow you could potentially have a band for lots of little kids to listen to and then kill themselves... Seriously how good could a band of depressives be? I know there are artists who battle with depression, but having a band of just poeple ho are depressed is just... depressing. Seriously, rethink you're band.

Into Eternity is one of those bands, and they're fantastic. If you haven't heard, open up your ears and learn something. You don't have to rain on his parade just because you're a douche.

You, good sir, have not gone over to your friends house after a hard night of drinking to find 2 dudes passed out in the same room both holding their own flaccid cocks in hand, passed out, with porn on the tv.

No, limiting a band to people who are depressed is just a bad idea for a band. And into Eternity aren't 'one of tohse bands' because the 10+ members weren't ALL depressed.

I really don't understand why you have such a tight criteria for your bandmates. It basicly means that they are all going to be exactly like you. Diversity of influences and characteristics in a band is better than having a bunch of 'clones'. What do you think you will get out of having a band of one person? Its a bit sick really. I mean come on, one of your requirements is depressson? What the hell does that have to do with anything?! I think you need help.
Good luck though.

No, but the central theme of the majority of the bands songs is dealing with depression.
