Off the top of my head:

John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton
Guns n Roses - Appetite For Destruction
Metallica - Black Album
Jimi Hendrix - various greatest hits
Phil Keaggy - Acoustic somethings
Eric Clapton - Unplugged

Plus a few others that I can't think of.

Nope, I get most of my tabs from this site :P

I don't use any book to write stuff in, either.

Yes, I get all my tabs from books. Book tabs are way better than the shitty ones on sites like this.

Some books are great and accurate. Some try to be too accurate and are just confusing and often actually incorrect. Some seem to be written by pianists who have never heard of a bend, slide, divebomb etc; or use the wrong position (or open position for everything). Some are just inaccurate and/or in the wrong key/tuning.

Same pretty much goes for tabs on this site, which is why we have the rating system. I guess the only ratings you get for books are on sites like Amazon or MusicRoom etc.
