Just bought a 2 month old HP printer for 10 bucks at a garage sale, guy claimed it worked fine but was out of black ink. So I'm trying to print word documents in just color, and it's working, but they're coming out with strange horizontal lines across them, is that just because of the missing black ink, or did I straight up buy a broken printer?

sounds like EITHER the colour ink is low, or it's faulty...

just change all the ink cuz printers make even less sense than women or bass players.

Check the software, there SHOULD be an option to correct the banding you seem to have.

Well the ink levels thing says the color is full but the black is out

Seems to me, that you have a Racist Printer.
