Slash's solo album o Appetite for Destructon - i cant decide which is better. What do you guys think?
appetite for destruction everytime. not too many albums can stand up to it
'And after a while, you can work on points for style.
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.'

'You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.'

stupid question, appetite is one of the best albums ever made, and slash's solo work is good, just that there are no stand out tracks that make it a great album.

appetite has three of the best classic/hard rock songs ever in sweet child, welcome to the jungle and paradise city, as well as many other great songs that never got the recognition which they deserved because they were over shadowed by them three. songs like nightrain and mr. brownstone are great songs, and some be more well-known. unfortunately for them, they came off the same album as them big three hitters.

slash has a load of good, solid songs, infact i personally find that there is only about one or two bad songs on the entire album, its just that it doesn't have any stand out songs which can carry it to the hights appetite acheived.

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
