I now have it.
The hand-crafted, 2002, Bubinga Warwick Corvette.
This thing is amazing, it sounds like heaven, it feels like heaven and the neck feels like I'm shredding on Satan's ****. I ****ing love this thing.
Sorry for the poor quality.

I don't really understand why basses have 24 frets, I mean, I've never seen a bassist playing more than the 12 fret.

I like them both.

But I find you need a professional adult outlook on music for TalkBass.

I don't think "If you can afford a Warwick, you can afford a better camera" is "professional adult outlook". =\

I think somehow theres reason behind having a crappy camera and instead having a Warwick...

Id probably give away a few limbs for one of them and spend the rest of my life playing it with my belly button and asking people to toss me off whilst i look at it.

Each to their own.

While that may very well be, at least he has a Warwick to string incorrectly. I have neither a Warwick or a camera to take pictures of it! Or money to buy those things!

I didn't string it though.
I'm taking it to a luthier this weekend to get it cleaned up and get a strap lock put in.
Also, how do you string it wrong?

Ah that's alright then.
It's just by the looks of the blurry picture the ends of the strings go through the slot in the machine head rather than into them - the end is supposed to be threaded into the small hole in the machine head and then wrapped around the post.
My sincerest apologies if it is in fact done correctly and i'm just being thrown off by a bad picture.

this reminds of a joke..

A spector NS-5 walks into a bar and sees a wishbass at the counter...He walks over and shouts, "Wow, you're f**king ugly!"

The Wishbass responds, in a drunken stupor, "Well, You're no Warwick either!"

Anyways, gratis on the 'wick...I remember my first doublebuck...then a 4 string thumb, and now, my 5-BO Thumb
