We’ll melt in the summer sun
Like the ice cream in our hands
Or the songs stuck in our heads
We’ll dissolve to liquid
And flow down the sides of streets
With some mismatched words
And jumbled chords
Then we’ll go to where time takes us
We’ll see new faces
We’ll say hello.
And they’ll ask us how our lives have been
And we’ll say we really don’t know.
The details were all lost in this heat haze
Passing like the cars on free ways
And then we can say at least we’re here right now
And as soon as the words escape
We’ll be drifting along down a new interstate
To some newly discovered place
Were we can hold the same conversation
Over and over again
Until we evaporate.

This might be expanded later on, but not here.

I went to the doctor, and they found something in my bladder. And whenever they find something, it's never anything good like, "We found something in your bladder AND IT'S SEASON TICKETS TO THE YANKEES!!
