I was recently going through the thread about sad/moving songs, and I'd like to try to counter that with a thread about songs that are encouraging, uplifting, or the lyrics just have a sense of hope, etc.

So far I thought of

Alter Bridge - Open Your Eyes

The Killers - Bling (Confessions of a King)

So I encourage (bad pun) the Pit to post their encouraging songs

Baltimore Ravens
Washington Capitals
Baltimore Orioles

holy hell you know sigur ros. Inní Mér Syngur Vitleysingur is more uplifting. Or Hoppipolla.
I'll believe in anything and you'll believe in anything.

Even though I'm not religious, this is one of my favorite songs:

The french back in the day = AMAZING composers.
Dreams - Van Halen

Lyrics are kinda cheesy but the synth is really uplifting.

Also, Kilburn High Road - Flogging Molly
God Willing - Dropkick Murphys
Most Jimmy Buffet, if you're OK with that.
I'm rgrockr and I do not approve of this message.
