Hey guys,
I'm looking for a little tube amp to play at home and possibly some gigs. (Mic'd obviously) I'm inbetween a Fender Champ 600 and a Bugera V5. They're both $150 and that's my budget.

Seems sweet, but also seems to be a hybrid amp. Not saying that it makes the thing automatically bad, just that some people might prefer their little retro amps all-tube.

Check out the VHT special 6. I like it better than both of the ones you mentioned, but its like 50 bukcs more, maybe you might save up a little more money.

I like the price and power, do you own? Does it live up to the hype? How's the tone?

I own the fender champ 600 and it's a really nice amp for the price!
You may want to change the stock tube to acheive perfect tone but the little amp really impressed me.

The BC-15 only has a tube in the pre-amp. The V5 is a little buzzy for my taste. TS, I reckon go and try the Fender and the Bugera before you buy. You're probably going to want headroom if you're gigging; you should take that into account. Although you could fix that by swapping in a low-gain tube - if you want something that'll cut the gain bucketloads, look at a 12au7.
