That's some shit, the only good parts of DC is the rich parts. Other than that, it's an old disgusting city.

it is.

but, the quality of living, in my income bracket, is shit. still, even when I was homeless, I loved being in the city.

Everybody knows that wherever I have lived is automatically ****ing awesome.

So Houston and Salt Lake City should get 1 and 2. Cause I'm awesome.

Out of interest, why are you expecting Budapest to be on there? I currently live in Canberra (number 26) and am a Hungarian citizen. Whilst I really enjoy Budapest and love being there, I would not say that it's "quality of living" standards are in the same league as Canberra.
And no, Guitar Hero will not help. Even on expert. Really.

Under-representation of the Hispanosphere makes me a sad panda

Buenos Aires, Argentina is a beautiful city! As are many of Peru and Chile's cities.

The lack of Nashville disappoints me. Although the Metro Nashville public schools suck ass, so that may very well be part of the reason why it's not on there. It has one of the best hospitals in the US, though.
#26
I thought Vancouver was fairly expensive to live in.

+1, actually. Nashville ftw! I also love Memphis very much, but due to the crime rate I'm not surprised it didn't make the list.

It is.

Taxes up the ass, high housing prices, etc. Frankly, between the high cost of living, the lack of culture, and the average infrastructure, I have no idea how Vancouver consistently ranks so high in these lists.
#29
... cause it really is quite enjoyable to live here?

there are more factors in this than "how expensive is it"

I know but I thought it might be ranked lower because of the cost.

I'm also for Nashville.

I don't like Memphis though. However, I had a pretty funny experience there awhile back.

A friend of mine was riding with me through Wolfchase, and a cop had a guy pulled over. The guy was hanging out the window talking to the officer when we drove by. My buddy rolls down his window and yells "NIGGA LYIN'!!!!"

I live in Auckland, and if its the 5th best city in the world to live....

Well, I just lost all faith in mankind.
#34
I pulled 32. which is Adelaide. Personally, I love Adelaide because its got a small town feel with all the luxuries of a larger city.

Some of the infrastructure outside of the inner suburbs is a little average so I can see where it lost some spots but overall I think its fantastic here.

Calgary doesnt even have a train to the airport or to the south east section of the city. Your infrastructure is highly developed compared to ours.

Cool to see Melbourne and Sydney so much higher than London. Makes me feel better about moving.
