I was wondering if this will fit on a 2009 Gibson LP Studio. I am unsure if it will work because has a new Gibson wiring scheme in it.

thanks

what is the new Gibson wiring scheme?

It will work with any 4 conductor pickup.

The wires from the pickups arent directly soldered in, the plug into the board instead.

So it is like an EMG quik connect system? You could probably still do it, I don't see why not, it would take some modification, but it should still work.

Historically, most Gibson pickups that are original equipment in their guitars only have a single conductor + shield cabling. Their replacement pickups are 4wire plus ground.

So without knowing the details, I suspect you won't be able to use the triple shot.

each pickup has one black wire and green wire that leads into a plug that plugs into the board. The wiring for switch has white black red and green. Does this mean that the triple shot wont work?
