My friend, and his drummer, an original song the guitarist/singer wrote.
the guitarist knows nothing about music, no chords, no tabs, can't read any of it. he just play by ear exclusively. i'm writing a bass part for it which they're going to add to the video later. but for now, check this out and critique em.

I liked it, I think you guys have a lot of potential.

A word of advice, and I'm not sure if it's the camera, but the sound quality could be better.

Great job though!

They guy shows glimpses of being quite a good singer (though not that often). Not bad overall.
Marshall amplifiers are the truest purveyors of rock and roll known to man.

"And give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer, and he doesn't become whoever, you know. He doesn't become us."

Holy crap, check this out!

Boring! No but seriously, I think they need more going on. I understand if they're going for a chill feel, but there isn't anything to hold my attention.

The idea of a song is certainly there, but I really think they should invest some more time in the instrumentals. A fill on the drums here and there wouldn't hurt if you're looking for a place to start.

the bass part i wrote up for it today is pretty good, it fills some of the blank space in there. also i feel ya on the drum fills, i thought it was missing some of them as well.

thank you. i'm really feeling this song, i think they'll get it down really tight once they have a bass part thrown in there, or maybe a second guitar part.
