The template has changed, please tell whether it's a head or combo, what cab if it's a head, and what speaker in either case.

I know there's an Egnater thread already, but since the Tweaker has become the "amp-du-jour" around these parts, I figured it'd be a nice idea to have a thread compiling a bunch of different clips, with different tube types, guitars, and playing styles.

So, here's the deal. Post the clip, the tubes, EQ and switch settings, guitar, playing style, and pedal setup.

Here's a template for yous guys.

Guitar:

Pedals:

Tubes:

Head/Combo:
Speaker/Cab:
Deep/Tight:
Normal/Bright:
Gain:
Clean/Hot:
Bass:
Middle:
Treble:
Brit/AC/USA:
Master:
Modern/Vintage:

Style:

Post away. I feel like this could end up being useful.

Following posts will contain clip additions with player credits, etc... I'll just edit them into the first post.

A lot. They make a pretty huge difference in upper mid aggressiveness and in bite on the Brit mode.

I haven't tried 6L6s in it yet, but I didn't like the stock 6V6s. They're good, don't get me wrong, I just don't like 6V6s. I haven't met on type I've liked yet.

Also ask Greg about the ELs he has in his.

Yea ive been kinda wondering about the stockers, feels like they could be better. Any rebiasing needed to put in the el34?

Nope. The Tweaker never needs biasing, ever. No matter the tube.

dude nice sword tone. ive been waiting for some metalish tones with el34s in this amp. sounds great. now whats the most modern metal sound you can get out of it on a brit setting, without following their "bedroom metal" preset thing, and just scooping the hell out of it?

and if i read that right, i like how you have your mids maxed

EDIT: Do you mean no scooping at all? Or just not the bedroom metal setting?

well it seems to me all that the bedroom metal setting is is scooping. the ac mode is engaged, the modern switch is on, and the mids knob is at zero. the ac setting, is naturally a little more scooped(or at least thats what my ears tell me lol), the modern mode scoops it a bit more, and the knob is all the way down. its at the max scoop setting lol. a little scoop is fine, i just dont like the whole metallica 10-0-10 thing and the jerk off scooped mids chugga chuga american thing. just a nice modern ish tone is what ive been wanting to hear. especially with el34s in this. you like brit stuff, i trust you should do a good job hah.

ill just leave you off with some examples i guess, some are probably scooped a bit, but by no means any type of thrash or whatever tone, mids are good ha.

opeth, katatonia, eluveitie(if theres enough gain), swallow the sun(more recent esp. new moon), dream theater etc. idk just in that realm of tones. i havent been able to sit down with one to try it myself, and id bet im not the only one curious to see what these things can crank out
