whats up people, so i recently bought a neck with a maple fret board with a small head stock to replace my rosewood with a large head stock, but the finish on it is almost gone, how would i refinish it to have the regular satin/shiny look and feel?

It might not be easy... Here's the Frets.com article on guitar finishes:

If you're talking about something made recently, it's likely got some sort of satin-finished polymer finish.
The problem with working on a fretboard is that it would be very tough to get the thing down to do a proper re-finishing without pulling all the frets and such..... A big job.
You could do a test on a small area with a commercial finish like the Minwax polymer products.
Or, you could just leave it as is and look like a seriously-experienced guitar player.....
