I'm just wondering if this Floyd rose is any good in comparison to schaller, gotoh or original floyd roses?

well, i dont have a ESP Licensed Floyd, but I do have a Licensed Jackson Floyd. It they are alike, then it would be a good. Haven't had any trouble with mine for the 2 years I have had it. Mine is good compared to others I have tried.

The ESP one is made to exactly the same specs as the original Floyd Rose, just esp has a different sustain block, which doesn't effect tuning at all. I have had mine for 8 months now and have absolutely no complaints. Only thing is it doesn't flutter like a real OFR. But yeah, as far as staying in tune goes, it is definitely just as good as my friend's guitar will an original.

Cheers for the quick response dudes,
It's just I can pick one up cheap to replace the Licensed POS on my spear guitar...

It's good, but not as good as an original floyd.

Yeah, that's why ESP (and most guitar companies) use OFRs in their more expensive guitars

One of the things I'm going to do to my Jackson Floyd soon is change the block to brass. I have head that makes a world of difference.
