hey im not too sure weather this is the right place, looked in the recording section but all just seems to be people recordings and not questions on how to record.

basically my pc's soundcard has 2 inputs and i want 2 tracks in reaper to record each mic inpuy onto. problem is ive only ever had to select one mic/input, so how do i set a differant mic for each track? or is it even possible in reaper?

thanks, lewis

Yep. Click the volume slider on the track (in the sidebar, not the mixer) and a little menu will pop up. Go from there.

Try the Reaper User Guide:
http://www.reaper.fm/userguide.php

It's pretty comprehensive and it has never failed me.

Anyway, IIRC you can set input by right clicking on the track in the dropdown menu.
