Hey just something I wrote up, not sure about it what do you guys think? C4C

I can see you from my window,
We're the only two alive as far as I know,
The city finally falls asleep at three a.m,
It seems to me its us and them

And the wind chases your sails,
The whistle in the hills grows slowly stale,
Clouds look angry but you don't know why,
The lightening is all you can see by.

You think you see straight through this murky world,
A sudden sense of shapes, but yet everything twirls,
And don't worry if you can't see the stars in the night,
Its just urban orange street lamps and those city lights,

You smile up at my window,
We're the only two alive as far as I know.
Yes you smile up at my window,
We're the only two alive of that you know.

I've been alone too much for a man,
I'm thinking I'm thinking and its driving me mad,
I've got worries from the east and ideas from the south,
Thoughts and eureka moments that I'm not seeking out,

They're bouncing round keeping me awake,
I know it I can feel it if it keeps up I'm gona break,
I need to shout I need to scream if only for my own sake,
I'm slowly and silently driving myself insane.

You smile up at my window,
We're the only two alive as far as I know.
Yes you smile up at my window,
We're the only two alive of that you know.

You see the light on upstairs,
Its cold outside but you're heading elsewhere,
Maybe you're lost or maybe you're just late,
Maybe you just fought and now run away.

And the headlights are your light tonight,
And the raindrops are your drink tonight,
You wish you were asleep but instead your walking around,
You wish you could just go sleep with this town

I can see you from my window,
We're the only two alive as far as I know.
You smile up at my window,
We're the only two alive that you know

But I've got scripts and books to write,
I've problems and solutions, wrongs I need to right,
Looking out the window, the pages pile up.
My mind bubbles over and violently erupts,

And the bus rattles by you and you hear the passengers sleep,
All that traffic beside you just seems obscene,
The road runs off and you try chase it as fast as you can,
When I look back out your gone and I'm alone again.

You smiled up at my window,
Now I'm left again on my own,
You might never return I know,
But if you come knock on my window,
Knock on my window,
Knock on my window.
