Not really. Look for a used MIJ rg550/560/570 if possible and you'll get a better guitar with a better trem. The edge 3 will wear after a few years.
What country btw?

I think thats a pretty decent price for one tbh,
in UK they are £350 average, and thats about $600

And you can get a used rg570/550 or any 5xx series rg for that price which will be a much better instrument.

or even save up a bit for a used ibanez prestige.

i think to be blatantly honest, buying any low end ibanez is a rookie mistake.

I don't think an RG350 can be considered low range. It's more like a mid range guitar, especially when you look at the RG1XX's, and the Gio's.... *shudder*

But that's not important. What is is that he's right, and if you're in a situation where you won't be able to buy another guitar for a long time, then you should definitely go used hunting, and get an MIJ Ibanez that will last you a long time.

The RG350 is an alright guitar, but the Edge III won't last that long. Also, for around the same price, wouldn't you rather have the higher quality body woods of an MIJ?
