Okay. Yesterday at band practice I powered up my Tonelab and the screen backlight only came on halfway, and the pedal produced no sound. I tried it with a different outlet, same thing. I was bent over trying to figure out what was up, when the tuners on my guitar (which was plugged in to the pedal) touched the frame of the pedal, and right then it powered up all the way. When the guitar stopped touching it, the pedal went right back to being "halfway" powered up.

So I'm guessing this is some sort of grounding issue, but I can't figure out if it's a problem with the power supply or the actual pedal... anyone here had this problem before? Or know what this might be?

By high-gain I don't mean stupid stuff. I just mean styles like Motley Crue or Iron Maiden
