I usually use Reaper to record my audio, but I recently got a MacBook Pro and was wondering what you guys thought of Garageband. Is it worth using, or should I stick with Reaper?

Thanks.

I find Reaper to be more versatile yet Garageband has a ton of pretty decent built in virtual instruments.

Lot of good built in instruments in GB, as stated above. I've always found it really intuitive. My only gripes with it it that it's sometimes hard to edit exactly where you want in the timeline. Just give it a shot, then stick with the one you prefer.

I would say for the more serious projects you should stick to Reaper. However GB can be tons of fun.
