Hello everyone,

So, a couple of weeks ago, I got a PRS SE Custom Cherry Sunburst, Tremolo, bought it online, from DV247 for around 465€.
The setup wasn't perfect, so I decided to take the guitar to a tech to get it properly setup. A week and 15€ later, I was surprised and disappointed to find out that the setup on my guitar was still not good.

Anyway, I decided to do it myself, following PRS's setup guide: http://www.prsguitars.com/csc/setup.html
I didn't touch the truss rod or the tremolo screws, as they seemed to be ok (keeping the bridge at 1/16" off the body), however, once I raised the saddles to get them at the proper distance off the 12th fret ("They should be adjusted so that the height of the string at the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string is 2/32""), I realized that they were too high ("The Bridge saddles should be low in the range of adjustment"), which goes against PRS's instructions.

I took some photos:

Here, you can see that the bridge is floating off at 1/16" off the body, it's not completely parallel, but the tremolo arm raises the low E to an F# (a couple of cents off, though)

As you can see, the saddles are very high.

So, can anyone help me figuring out why do I have to keep them so high in order for the strings' action to be correct?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English.

PS: I also posted this on TheGearPage, but since I got no response, I decided to make a thread here too.
