Waiting on every moment before it happens,
get off that plane,
lighthouse lights keep on searching,
for this excess breathe,
all future ballroom dances,
leaving a stain,
days have passed but not the sun,
dying to sleep, paying,
paying with past due's,
with the weight of diamonds and nothing,
these handcuffs derailed,
were not wrecking something,
were breaking nothing,
before we trip on ourselves.

Why tremble,
shaking full of innocence,
why tremble,
walking on glass,
open wounds find bliss,
ignorance bleeding out on the highway,
all over the rear-view mirror.

the ocean's only as deep as your legs,
what you don't see you'll never believe,
were only as pure as our intentions,
I believe you forgot an honorable mention,
mention the handcuffs,
chained at the hip,
bleeding out innocence all over the highway,
let's hobble away, forget about this,
before we trip on ourselves.

Why tremble,
shaking full of innocence,
why tremble,
walking on glass,
open wounds find bliss,
ignorance bleeding out on the highway,
all over the rear-view mirror.

When I saw that, I thought of musical notes.... my elementary school teachers taught them as "tee-tees" "ta-tas" and a bunch of other nonsense....

I found all of this quite powerful, except for the first verse. Everything except that last three lines of it, while interesting, don't convey the same level of emotions as the rest.
