Hey all! So I found this band a long time ago, from Israel, called "The Fading"...they're actually very good, IMO...I believe they won some sort of big competition at Wacken in like 08 or 09 or something....

Anyways, I've been searching desperately all around the internet for DAYS for lyrics, but I can't find too much. I've managed to come across two of the songs on their 10 track album, but they're basically my least two favorite songs, haha :P

Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone that either knows of the band or knows of a place to find really obscure metal bands lyrics...I've tried soo many places, whether it's just Darklyrics.com or search on google or dogpile or something...I mean I know they're obscure but you would THINK that with the vast resources available to us these days on the internet, I would find SOMETHING, eh?? haha :P

Well, if they're Israeli, then finding their lyrics is gonna be hard. The fact is that most non-American, non-British, or any band from Norway or Sweden -- unless it's a band from those countries, it's hard as hell to find lyrics.

Edit: I just found em on youtube. Now I want the lyrics too.

Beyond Perfection

We're the Reflection, of Imperfection.
We come from the infinite place of limitation.
Rejoice in these days, make a correction,
We're the completion.

Lights Out, down for the count, and can't get up.
Meanwhile the enemy screams the boy is stuck,
And the legs of the king are dangling in a rut.
Falling pieces, lost sparks, hearts cut.

We're not alone in the madness, if we're here then so are you.
Deepest caverns underground,
We've been searching for the truth.
Scrape my knees on the hurdles, face down in a puddles

Only one who'll get us out of this mess,
The one who put us here.
I've got a spear driven through my ear.
Can't you hear the sound, crystal clear,
Pistols crashing chandeliers,
Long for brooks of water like the deer

A man is just a man, filled with faults and weakness.
4 AM, Jerusalem, all alone and speechless.
Nightime nobody's home, Roam streets of darkness.
I feel I'm just a man, flesh and bones homeless.

A man is just a man, filled with faults and weakness.
4 AM, Jerusalem, all alone and speechless.
Nightime nobody's home, Roam streets of darkness.
I feel I'm just a man.

Planting Seeds, they won't sink in.
I'm dried up like the desert earth, how could these seeds give birth?
Water me down, liquify, I will not be cursed.
From one into a billion disperse.

Wisdom reigns like water, from heaven to below.
Crush my earth seeds grow, garden starts to grow.
You know you've got to rise, although you like to flow,
You can't keep staring out the window.

Earth, Water, Wind, Fire, we stay low while getting higher.
Spark igniter, fighting tired,
Stay wired, enlighten loads.
Fly alive, weep, wail, chant, cry, Let out a sigh.
Energized, you are my last stop, life shouldn't pass me by.

Rise to the occasion,
Keep these hearts all blazing,
Build you're life of a river of wax,
Melt into space,
We've been here since the beginning,
Not going away.
Not going away.

@ Psycho, yeah, I found that one and I also found the lyrics to My Lost Serenity.

Both are really good songs, but in comparison with the rest of their album, at least IMO, they're my least favorite songs...but thanks for that reply nonetheless, man!

And yeah, crazysam, I only heard them a few months ago, I think, but I dig them a lot. They're not like crazy crazy original or heavy, but they've just got a really good sound that I dig a lot. Not one of my favorite all-time bands, but they're definitely a really great band that should have an incredibly bright future.

to be completely honest, the main reason that I ask is because I've really always wanted to do a vocal cover of one of their songs (I'm not sure which one to do, haha), so having the lyrics is obviously a must, lol.

Well, I guess I'll give it a few days and see if there's anybody out there who maybe owns a hard copy of the album, and if they included lyrics in the cd cover, maybe they'd be kind enough to post them, eh? haha :P

Also, if anyone has the lyrics to the album Route Code Selector by Lunarsea, that'd be sweet, as well (although I think that Lunarsea refused to publicly release their lyrics, which is some pretty stupid bullshit...)

Angel Within

From the forest itself comes the handle for the axe
Split this wilderness listen up this aint where it's at
Clear a path so that you can find your way back
Chop em down chop em down
Chop em down chop em down

Time flies by like clouds passing in the sky
Lifetimes here then gone with the blink of an eye
March through the desert one step at a time
March through the desert one step at a time

From the forest itself comes the handle for the axe
Drop the staff Moshe Rabbeinu split the ocean in half
March through the desert they say where it's at
Chop em down chop em down
Chop-chop em down chop- chop em down

Patterns engraved not so easily erased
Still wandering trying to find your place
Playing the game i see pain on your face
Now a day's the yiddin like children sold as slaves
Strange ways running through the maze
Strange ways always lost in the desert trying to find to find your place
Lost lost in the desert trying to find your place

From the forest itself comes the handle for the axe
Split this wilderness listen up this aint where it's at
Clear a path so that you can find your way back
Chop em down chop em down
Chop em down chop em down

Yoseph descended sold as a slave
Thrown into a dungeon cause he wouldn't be swayed
Interpreted Pharaoh's dreams and Egypt was saved
Stock piled food for seven years of rain
Then sold to all the nations when the drought came

Yoseph rose to power and the yiddin stayed
They started to build and success was made
Pharos getting worried let's make them pay bound in chains
First born was sent down to their graves
Moshe was saved and a prince he was raised
Hashem spoke to him heres a message to relay
Take my nation from Mitzrayim I see the suffering
Hard hearts ego breaks take sparks and make way
Trail blaze through the wasteland breaking the chains

Last generation just the ruminants
March through the desert leaving footprints
Peel off the lid this is just plastic gotta get into it, get get into it
Heavy hitter stepping solid never quitter jump into the ocean before it split gotta jump into it
Rip rip through Egypt get into it keep the fire lit just get into it
600,000 witnessed it, no you didn't forget
No you didn't forget
Rip rip through Egypt get into it
Got a jump into it
Jump jump into it

In the spiritual desert things are not what they seem
Snakes camouflaged just fit to the scene

jump into it... camouflaged...

If noone has posted the lyrics online, it would seem the lyrics aren't in the album leaflet.
Some bands do that.

And why? AND WHY? Can't you remember?!

GOOD DAAAAMMNN YOOOUUUU!

You could just buy the fucking album.

See, I would love to, but I have no money...in fact, I just blew all of my album money on Kalmah and We Are The Void by DT...so yeah, I've got to wait a few months to buy it...and even then, I'm saving all of my little money for a PA system, since I'm a vocalist that's trying to get into a band, but I need gear, haha...

Also, wow, thanks a bunch Psycho...that's one of my favorite songs...where, may I ask, did you find it?? Because I've been looking everywhere for it!!!

Well @ Psycho, I just re-listened to Angel Within while looking at those lyrics and I think they've been mislabeled or something, because they sound nothing like what the vocalist actually sings.

But I'm really glad that you managed to find more lyrics, so thanks for that, man!

Yay The Fading!

One of my favourite Israeli Metal bands, I think they'll be big some day.
