Title says it all. I've found myself every single night just watching the same live music videos over and over just completely in awe like I've never seen them before. I can't help but think "I've got to be doing that, that's what I want". So the videos that have been making me think this are (all live):

Guns N Roses - Nightrain/ Paradise City/ You Could Be Mine
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms/ Sultans of Swing/ Walk of Life/ Money for Nothing
Velvet Revolver - Get Out the Door/ Last Fight/ Dirty Little Thing
AC/DC - Most songs

Just various other performances from those bands.

What about you guys? Links or pictures would be awesome

When I watch Muse live I feel like that. Same with Biffy Clyro. And sometimes Maiden.

Biffy Clyro - That Golden Rule. (XFM Session)
Iron Maiden - Revelations. (Flight 666)
Muse - Knights Of Cydonia. (Live @ Wembley Stadium)
You, are creating all the bubbles at night...

Iron Maiden - Brighter Than a Thousand Suns/Flight of Icarus
Bit of a contrast on the next ones.
The Holloways - Great Britain/Alcohol
Mumford and Sons - EVERYTHING THEY'VE EVER DONE

Even though I honestly don't find Noel Fielding very funny, I absolutely love watching his live stand up. And it always makes me want to do it myself.

I don't want to do music in the style of The Strokes, but I think that they give one of the best "rock and roll" shows today.

Watching Pink Floyd perform a whole concert usually blows my mind (not drugs because i don't do them).

In particular Shine On. For them it's about the music rather than making sure they are writing hits, which is what i want to do.

And similar to OP. I saw Mark Knophler by himself and it had the same feeling despite being a different genre.

Yeah Mark Knopfler is a legend. I love his solo stuff and the Straits' stuff. Also, Gilmour's guitar work just makes my jaw drop...

Pink Floyd.
Marshall amplifiers are the truest purveyors of rock and roll known to man.

"And give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer, and he doesn't become whoever, you know. He doesn't become us."

Holy crap, check this out!

Anything Opeth has done in the past decade. Their style is so unique. No music can be as metal and musical at the same time. Listen to anything off Ghost Reveries or Deliverance

Napoleon Solo by At The Drive-In
Meds by Placebo (actually, a very large amount of their work makes me feel like that)

Just Kenny's voice really. And the un-grateful pricks witnessing the man at work there...

Rage Against the Machine. All of it.
"You have brains in your head,
You have feet in your shoes,
You can steer yourself,
any direction you choose,
You're on your own,
And you know what you know,
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go."

Umphrey's McGee. I've never seen a band interact with each other so well, and as a result their improvisation sounds ****ing incredible. Plus they can all shred their nuts off.

Pink Floyd quickly comes to mind...
The Beatles.
Metallica.
Led Zeppelin.
The Who.

To come close to any of those bands would make my life complete...
