I found a semi hollow Peavey guitar the other day at work. Everything is fine apart from the bridge, it's broken (in half! i don't know how this could be done) and two of the string saddles are missing, so i need to buy a new bridge. My question is a bit dumb probably, but i want to make sure i'm doing it the right way. So, when measuring the bridge length i need to measure the whole length of the bridge, or from the mounting screws?
depends what it says when youre buying it. some are from the centre of each pole, others are the full length.I'd say take it into your local music shop to get it right.
