Need a general pointer here. I'm looking for a single-coil guitar, preferably one with P-90s. Normal single-coils are ok though. I'm trying to stay under $500. It'll be my standard-tuning guitar, used for blues/indie folk rock/country. A vibrato would be great (bigsby especially ) but not required.

I've considered:

Agile Goldtop LP w/ P90s
Epiphone Goldtop LP w/ P90s
Epiphone WildKat
Epiphone ES-175/295/137
Gibson LP Studio 50s tribute limited edition (overbudget)
Gibson LP Jr
Epiphone John Lennon Casino
Epiphone Riviera
PRS SE One Korina
Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster or Jaguar Special
Fender '65 Mustang
Fender MIM strat
Ibanez Jet King JTK30
Fender 1996 Floyd Rose Standard Stratocaster
Epiphone SG G-400

Laney TT50-112

Ibanez Weeping Demon
Marshall RG-1 Regenerator
Electro-Harmonix/Sovtek (Black) Big Muff Pi

Epiphone Casino but not the John Lennon, just the casino, same thing
Fender Classic player guitars... I'd say they're the best out of the bunch, get a Jazzmaster. If you find one for that price.
I was in the same boat just a few weeks ago, looking for a decent guitar with 2 P90 pickups on it. I homed in on the Godin LG SP90. Found a new one advertised on line with hardshell case. Cost me $460 delivered. So far I've been very happy with it. I particularly like that the parts are made in Canada and the guitars are assembled in Massachusetts.

Prior to buying the Godin I considered the Fender Telecaster Deluxe II with two P90 pickups for about $250 (gratuitious link provided), but the ones I've looked at are all made in Indonesia:

If you can live with only one P90 pup then the PRS SE ONE series is nice.

Epiphone Wildkat. P90s + Bigsby tremolo.

I own one so I am very biased... but my Les Paul doesn't get played very much now I have a Wildkat... it looks gorgeous, plays great and sounds amazing.
