Hey guys, I posted this in the gb&c forum but no help so far - so I decided to come to the lovely bass forum which is seemingly always more helpful

Anyway

Hey, I'm hopefully getting my p-bass resprayed arctic white by a dude who sprays cars. The current finish is polyurethane, and again, I'm hopefully ending up with a nitrocellulose laquer instead.

My problem is this - the guy who is spraying it seems pretty adamant about using what he calls "2K laquer". So I'm wondering if this stuff is safe/suitable for use on a musical instrument?

Thanks

Strange, we only have one song recorded and up now. Gig on teh 19th, then supporting Elliot Minor in York, then we're at Vivaz for a night. Should be fun!
