Hey guys,
So i ordered a new engine for my ford expedition and it is being shipped to my home via freight within the next couple days. I did not realize that I am responsible for geting this 350lb+ engine off of the truck and into my garage where my uncle will install it. how do i go about this as it is kind of really important.
thanks a bunch,
James

Damn TS, you're gonna need an army of mechanical engineers for this, no less than 78.

1 forklift
2 lots of strong friends
3 slide it into the bed of a truck then see option 2
4 bobcat, use a chain and the bucket to lift the engine

That's all I got

Call a nearby garage. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you if you pay.

I know this sounds retarded but you could set up a make shift ramp and slide it into the garage (back in the slide it down)

this. hahahaha

forklift is sounding right, but they have to be expensive as **** to rent out. Wouldn't a cherry picker do the job (the thing you use to hoist an engine considering they go like 8' off the ground)?

If you don't have a cherry picker to pull the old engine and put in the new one just tell the truck driver to take it back.

This.

What the hell are you doing buying an engine if you cant even get it where it needs to go?

And why are you ordering something you can't do yourself?

My brother and I took mine off the truck. And mine weighed more than yours does. It's not a big deal.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.
