Hey folks. Having found the motivation to start playing again, I'd like to put some fizz in my setup.

Cutting to the chase, I have a Parker P38. For those that don't know it has fat strat style H/S/S passive pup setup and also a Fishman Piezo Acoustic bridge. It uses a three element jack socket and a y lead for separate acoustic and electric sounds or both together if you use a normal lead.

My plan is that I have an EMG KH20 setup sat on my desk. Now apart from having to do something with the scratch plate and finding space for another battery, am I going to have any dramas with swapping passive for active?

I am a noob as far as guitar mods are concerned but I do have a good understanding of electronics.

Also does anyone know where I can get hold of a blank scratch plate for a parker or am I best making my own?

Cheers

Chris
