I currently own a Bassman 4x10, and while I love it, it's not really good for playing my kinda music. I'm getting into a lot of shred, similar to Paul Gilbert, David Shankle, Steve Vai, etc.

I'm really digging the Laney GH100L, but I can't seem to find them ANYWHERE around here. My question is, is there a readily available amp that can get me close to that Laney tone for around $600-$800?

Where do you live? If you're willing to go used and buy online, there are typically some over on Rig-Talk. I think there was GH100 for like $585 the other day there.
