So I need to repair one of the holes where the strap peg goes. My plan is to use a piece of tooth pick and then something to fill the hole and cement it all in place.

I wasn't sure if I should just use wood glue or something different. So does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

use wood glue dude. . i repaired this problem so many times (from playing in a metal band and gigging a crapload) all i did was put wood glue in the hole. push it down with a toothpick. and repeat. then once its filled. wipe the excess glue off your guitar with a wet paper tile. and then set your guitar upright in the stand, or agaisnt your amp if you dont have a stand. and its easy as that. works like a charm.

Yeah, that will work fine. Also you could use a small dowel rod cut down to size.
